Reminds me of the relationship I had with my own father growing up along with an abusive mother.

Cat Stevens was never defined by the decade he was in or genre. Totally unique and on his own path.

Great song! I have always loved Cat Stevens' music. Great singer songwriter with a very unique sounding voice. One of my first albums I ever bought was his "Tea For The Tillerman" (1970). The whole album is great. So is the album "Teaser & The Firecat". He has had so many great songs in his career such as "Matthew & Son", "The First Cut Is The Deepest", "Morning Has Broken", "Wild World", "Moonshadow", "Oh Very Young", "Peace Train" etc. He is still recording & performing live & his voice still sounds great.
