The perfect intersection of my inner train nerd and my inner NorCal nerd. Really enjoyed this. Cheers!

Thanks for posting this great series. So fortunate that someone had enough sense to make these films back in the day for future generations. Incredible history!

With all the traffic congestion, I'll bet people wished these interurbans were still running.

Another fine production, Hunter. Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication to making these historic films available to the public.

Wow, what an amazing tour of Marin before it was heavily built up! I worked about 100 yards from the Ross station (now a Post Office) for over 15 years and 'walked the line' out of Ross to Kentfield many times, which is now a walking path.

The equivalent of a heavy rail light metro like Montreal's REM through beautiful countryside with historic small towns! That was a landscape to be cherished and preserved except for trees allowed to grow, not bulldozed, paved over, and covered with houses and busy stroads, and the railway not abandoned and pulled up for scrap. America's addiction to the automobile ruined EVERYTHING.
