Thank you for updating this video. Not many people would go out of their way to address criticism of their videos, let alone remake the whole thing in response. It’s stuff like this that really makes you guys stand out from the hundreds of other science channels on this silly platform

I wish we could regulate businesses from creating addictive food instead of putting everyone on a non-obesity subscription.

Great video! I was on Zepbound for 6 months. I lost 70 pounds, no longer have hypertension, am no longer pre-diabetic, and have cut my risk of heart disease in half. Once the weight was off, exercising became much easier, so I started running and lifting weights. I have now been off the meds for 4 months and haven't gained back a single pound. Actually lost a bit more. These meds are life-changing for the right person. Just be sure you do what he said, and use the help they give you to build a healthier lifestyle!

My mom is on this. She tried for years to lose weight, doing everything she could. However she just couldn’t get food out of her head, and after reaching menopause it got even worse due to the hormone issues leading to even more weight gain. She started taking it and it turned that problem off for her. Because of that, she’s lost over 60 pounds and reduced the inflammation and knees problems. She can now walk farther and enjoy life again. I’m thankful for it, because I get more time with my mom.

Love it when people especially scientists are allowed and even encouraged to update their perspectives based on new data.

This is a lot better than the last one and is exactly what I'd expect from an educational channel. Thanks for revising it!

As a scientist formerly in the field of obesity, I find this video remarkably accurate for such simplified explanations. Also, the authors seem to know how extremely important it is to not vilify fat and tackle the issue of overweight, obesity, and satiation from several points, psychological and physiological. Wonderful to see such an instructive video!

The issue the scientific and medical community sees right now isn't the wide-spread use of the drug as much as the lack of titration of the drug per each patient. You want to take only as much of the drug to suppress the hunger to a certain point (not all the way). At the same time, taking too much of the drug may make you more resistant to satiation signals in the future. This would mean that, if in the future you were to stop using the drug, you unfortunately might experience even more hunger. The real long-term effects are yet to be seen. The reason for one-dose-fits-all principle (vs titration) is likely to get the drug faster on the market and into the clinics. The hope is that next generation of drugs would be applied more smartly.
