Joe you've made a masterpiece here. This is so perfectly analysed, not just diving into Ezio's life, but also that of the Hero's journey itself.

Those final fifteen minutes perfectly capture the meaning behind these three games. So much so that you guys brought me to tears a couple times.

You've outdone yourself Joe, let us all drink to a new chapter in your life.

I played ac2 at a very difficult time in my life. I was struggling with depression and anxiety and found myslef with no motivation to do anything but sit in my room. After playing through all three games in the ezio trilogy, I looked to Ezio as a role model, more than a fictional character. I can truly say that Ezio and those games saved my life.

The "it's a good life we lead, brother" bit always makes a catch in the throat knowing the tragedy to come.

The Cappadocia cloak is not only cool, but also modular. You can combine it with any of the dyes to get exactly the look you want. My favorite is when used with Masayaf White to give the inside some contrast

At last, we come to the end of the Year of the Scarab. Joe, you’ve done a fantastic job with this video. Your analysis here even managed to make me reconsider a number of my conceptions about these games and I now hold them in an even higher esteem than ever. I’ve greatly enjoyed being able to work with you on this project and all of the ways in which we’ve interacted over the past couple years. I wish you the best in all of your future endeavours. Safety and peace, my friend.

You know growing up as a kid I was in a rough time had a rough childhood not to mention my parents spliting up at the time and my mom fallingin deep depression because of it while I was strugling at school and being bullied I was in a way watching a role model on a screen that wasnt real and I didnt understand at the time but now I see it clearly much more Ezio is the symbol of masculinty a symbol of a true man and leader that every boy and man should continue to strive for there is soo much to relate with Ezio still soo many years after his death his presence is still here I still miss him which is weird since I know he isnt real but he feels real and thats whats important

Ezio’s story came at just the right time in my life. I initially hated assassin’s creed, for replacing Prince of Persia. But then Ezio came along when my life was similarly ravaged. He game me strength. He gave me courage. And her I am to this day. I highly suspect that without Ezio to inspire me, I might have ended it back then.
