  What a difference in the way my church treated our daughter.  They put their arms around her. Loaned her a wedding dress, decorated the church and gave her and her husband a lovely wedding. Showered them with wedding gifts. Later showered them with baby gifts. My daughter and SIL stood before the church with our precious grandbaby and dedicated him to the LORD. That is what love looks like. Love is nothing if not redemptive.  I thank my Heavenly Father for his love and care of our family through tough times and happy times.

  Thank you, Alissa, for reading that letter with such a beautiful &amp; compassionate voice. <br><br>Thank you, anonymous for sending it. It was beatifully told. I write this with tears as I remember the generations of girls who have been treated so cruelly. I imagine that like myself, you too can be grateful for the cruelty, as it set us free. Freedom is ever so sweet after all that! We walk away with heads held high, unashamed of being people with more common sense &amp; human decency.<br><br>Also, the way they use situations like this to ruin reputations, often falsely, is truly dispicable. We all know that mistakes will be made, but to falsely make it look like someone is unrepentant is pure evil. How many marking talks are made about someone bothering kids? I never heard one. But I was subjected to probably thousands of marking talks. They were a constant source of discomfort, stress, questioning &amp; fear. Shame on the org. They do all of this in secrecy,...but we KNOW what they did! Their filthy laundry is in the wash now.

  I had the same thoughts about the GBs response to the vax, I was gobsmacked. My brain was working overtime trying to rationalise their actions, thinking I wasn’t spiritual enough to understand their reasoning. <br>I saw people being turned on by friends and ostracised because of their decisions to even refuse to test at home. <br>We were that family who returned to the hall without masks and glared at, to the point I said we’re going to stay on zoom. <br><br>Took another year or so to start reading the bible independently and seeing the contradictions in doctrine and we woke up pretty abruptly. <br><br>It’s freeing to know we’re raising our family free of this damaging cult now. So nice to hear of whole families leaving together and forging new lives for themselves 🩷

  I have one realisation after listening..Jehovahs witness parents will put their children through hell, as long as THEY, the parents, get their damned paradise. <br>And the parents realisation, when their wicked heart finally opens.
