THE COMPLETE CAMPERVAN TRANSFORMATION!

We turned a crash-damaged Volkswagen Crafter into a £100,000+ luxury campervan — and this is the complete campervan build from start to finish. 🚐🔥 Six months ago, we bought a badly damaged VW Crafter with one ridiculous plan: completely rebuild it and create our dream luxury campervan from scratch. What followed was months of DIY campervan conversion, learning as we went, repairing the crash damage, building the interior and tackling almost every part of the van ourselves. We started with a wreck. We finished with a fully custom campervan. But before we could finally call the build finished, there was one major problem left to fix. After everything we’d already done to this van, this final problem could still stop us from getting the finished campervan we’d spent months building on the road. So we get back to work, find out what’s wrong, fix the final issue and finally get to see the Volkswagen Crafter as the campervan we always wanted it to be. Throughout this full VW Crafter campervan conversion, we completely transformed the van with: • Crash damage repairs and a complete rebuild • Full campervan insulation and flooring • Windows and a custom pop-top roof • Luxury campervan interior • Custom kitchen and living area • U-shaped seating and sleeping area • Full Victron electrical system • Solar panels, batteries and charging system • Campervan heating system • Fresh and waste water tanks • Custom lighting throughout the van • Indoor/outdoor campervan cinema • Custom bar and beer tap • Storage and countless finishing touches This was a DIY campervan build, and we definitely weren’t professionals. We had to learn as we went, make mistakes, solve problems and figure out how to turn a crash-damaged commercial van into a fully functioning luxury campervan. There were jobs we thought would take an hour that took days. Things that went completely wrong. Parts we had to replace. And plenty of moments where we wondered if we’d ever actually finish the thing. But after months of work, thousands of jobs and one final problem standing in our way, the VW Crafter campervan is finally finished. From a crash-damaged van… To a completely custom £100,000+ luxury campervan. This is the FULL VW Crafter campervan build. 🚐❤️ 00:00 Intro 00:28 Repairing The Crash Damage 09:41 Installing Windows and A Pop Top 17:04 Bodywork Repairs & Custom Wrapping The Van 24:43 Installing Van Security Locks, CCTV and Cargo Carriers 28:41 Installing Our Insulated Van Floor 34:04 Building A Campervan Shower Room 41:47 Installing Electrics, Lighting & Ceiling Panels 44:35 Overhead Storage & Roof Vent 47:24 Ply & Upholstering The Van Walls 48:48 Installing Our Campervan Kitchen 56:42 Diesel Heater & Underslung Water Tanks 58:35 Building Sofa Bed With Outdoor Cinema 01:04:36 Can We Fix The Problem With Our Van If you're planning your own VW Crafter camper conversion, off-grid camper build, or simply love DIY van life projects, this episode is packed with inspiration, practical tips, and plenty of satisfying progress. 👍 Don't forget to LIKE, COMMENT & SUBSCRIBE to see our latest build projects. _______________________________________________________________________ MORE VIDEOS FROM THE HOME IMPROVEMENTS CHANNEL UK; WE DESTROYED MAT ARMSTRONG’S DREAM HOUSE: We Destroyed Mat Armstrong’s Dream House WE BOUGHT A CHEAP NARROWBOAT TO RESTORE - HUGE MISTAKE?!; WE BOUGHT A CHEAP NARROWBOAT TO RESTORE - ... _______________________________________________________________________ Thank you for watching The Home Improvements Channel UK.
