  Nothing has come close to Tom Petty....OK Roy Orbison....The BEATLES...I still listen to Tom and Heartbreakers everyday that I exercise as I walk...His wisdom was extroardinary!... I listen to everything over and over and find new words and meaning everytime!

  The thought of no more Tom Petty music is so depressing. I was always like a kid waiting for Christmas when they were working on a new album. How can losing someone you've never met feel like you've lost a friend? RIP Tom, glad I was around for your trip to Earth.

  Every new Tom Petty video is like a gift you didn’t even know how much you wanted and needed and then bam! There he is again and it’s another diamond, another smile right to your soul. No on one ever turns thumbs down because why? He’s so great. He’s just Tom Amazing Petty.

  I love it when Tom looks back. It makes you understand that Tom is humble at his core and loves his band and knows he is better with them.

  Thanks, Allyn. We all are so blessed to have Tom Petty in our lives. Even though he's physically gone, we will continue to benefit from what he did. It's disappointing that I never had a chance to tell him face-to-face how many times his music picked me up and put me back on the right path. He was a humble man, just doing what he loved, even when it was far from a simple thing. But how often do we actually get to do what we really want to do, or what we're meant to do? I think that's rare. And I thank God he never gave up when it wasn't easy.

  Like the man said, Tom Petty could have rolled out of bed and written a hit song.  Very few are in that club.
