  As a pre-vet student who runs urine samples of all kinds of animals (I’ve also run some human samples), I can confirm that “urine therapy” is NOT good for you. 😭 all that stuff in the bottom of the jar at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TSWY0e9_QJc&amp;t=210">3:30</a> is actually all of the elements that are naturally in your urine- which is what your body discards- it includes squamous/epithelial cells(on occasion), red and white blood cells (more common if the sample was taken via catheter or cystocentesis/syringe and when there’s an infection), crystals (some have clinical significance like tyrosine and ammonium biurate, but some don’t have any clinical significance, like triple phosphate/struvite crystals), bacteria (especially if the sample is old or “aged” as the guy in the video said), and when the sample sits for too long it gets amorphous crystals, which is just a fancy term for LITERAL JUNK that builds up as the urine sits out… so.. yeah, don’t drink urine, especially not aged urine. You could get really sick. 😭<br><br>(Edited bc I had to correct a few typos/autocorrect mishaps)

  My dad (a doctor who works at OSU) puts the issue of drinking your urine very simply &quot;there is a reason your body excretes it&quot;<br>Which I think makes a lot of sense.

  Your body has one of the best waste filtration systems. If your body is getting rid of something (pee, poop, sweat, vomit, etc) DON&apos;T put it back in
