  When I was playing a cop on Atlanta Homicide, we had the director, another cop and a tech, all leave during a shoot. I had 30 minutes to learn all of her lines, but we then had to make up a transitional scene that explained my addition scenes and ad lib the whole thing. The secretary hollered, "Hey, you can't go in there!" I pointed to the badge on my belt and said, "Uh, this says we can." It was priceless, and made up on the spot.
