  In The Godfather, the actor was told that a fake horse&apos; head would be put onto a bedpost. &nbsp;His reaction of horror at finding a real horse&apos; head underneath the blanket was real. &nbsp; The actor playing Luca Brossi walked back and forth, rehearsing his lines. He then flubbed them when meeting Don Corleone. &nbsp;The director put in the scene of him walking back and forth and then fumbling while talking. It made it seem like the huge man was terrified of the mob boss.

  To further expand on the Life of Brian, the extras were told they wouldn&apos;t be paid for the day if they broke character and laughed, hence why they were trying so hard, a genius move on the Directors part but also a pretty cold one for a excellent result.
