  I’ve seen tourists get angry that the Thai couldn’t speak English. Omg it made me mad 🤬 the same sort of people would be enraged if someone come to their country &amp; spoke Thai expecting them to understand. The entitlement is 🤯<br>My number #1 tip respectf Thai people &amp; their culture

  I would agree with all of those except the cash one. Best option is to take cash in your own dollars/pounds/euros and then change then to Bhat as needed as the rates will be much better than you get at home or from an ATM. Just make sure your notes/bills are in perfect condition as any which are damaged, folded or marked may not be accepted.

  This gentleman is giving very good advice and I’m asking everyone to listen to him and as a person who has been living here for 10 years please respect the culture, custom and traditions here do not speak negative of the monarchy the royal family the king do not step on the paper money here the currency because it has the face of the king on it even the coins have a drops don’t put your foot on it. Let it roll until it stop or try to catch your hand, you can get up to 25 years in prison for disrespecting the king the world, family paper currency so be very careful here don’t speak politics here anything that’s negative about the royal family or the king. It will cost you dearly. You can be deported after serving prison time. Do not get into argument with the Thai people here do not get into a fight because you’re the one that gonna be at fault even if the person was at fault you would be blame why because you are a guest here you are a foreigner here and that’s the way you gonna be treated if you’re winning, find a reputable rental place be very very careful advise not to drive here if you don’t have the experience of living here because is very dangerous here especially for foreigners number one cause of death for foreigners in Thailand is auto accidents motorcycle accidents they have laws here, but not obey them pertaining to the road rules and regulations of driving and riding motorcycles so be very very very careful here I don’t Drive or ride the motorcycle if you do not take the skytrain subway take the bus if you can be sure to check where you’re going and the taxi be sure they turn on that meter if they give an excuse get out of the cab do let them take you alone The city or where you have to go without turning on that meter Thailand is a beautiful country. People are beautiful. Yes this gentleman that giving very good advice and I do say please listen to him. Have a wonderful time here and enjoy yourself and be alert. Be safe and be careful.   My understanding about eating fruits and vegetables is not the water which is totally fine but i personally would urge folks to wash the bacteria off of these specific foods. One of my food poisoning experiences involved a smoothie.

  Belief it or not American tipping is only in America. The rest of the world is normal and you only tip when you feel like it, when some service is extra nice or good. Not because it is a must do so. The rest of the world pays a normal salary to their waitresses and other employees.
