  Hi all! I&apos;m pinning this comment here for clarifications and corrections that anyone catches in this video! The last thing I want to do is to spread misinformation, so thank you for catching anything I might have missed or gotten wrong!<br><br>Additions:<br><br>1) I forgot to mention this, but for most fighting games, you should be crouch blocking! This is because a majority of moves are lows, meaning that they will hit you if you&apos;re standing up. One exception to this would be Tekken, where the opposite is true, and lows are more rare compared to highs, so you should stand block more often instead.<br><br>Corrections:<br><br><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPJpF2HAEzM&amp;t=462">7:42</a> - As it turns out, there is no difference in frame data whether you are crouch blocking or stand blocking. The reason Foudre Arc is more advantageous on crouch block is because it is hitting later in its active frames. However, it is still true that characters take extra hitstun while crouching.

  I do think it&apos;s interesting that despite combos being such a huge majority of what people tend to practice, arguably the most famous FG clip is near-entirely about precise blocking!! And it&apos;s so crazy to watch IB monsters like scripter on strive.. such a high skill ceiling

  I&apos;m a skullgirls player, a mixup heavy game that&apos;s usually 3v3 like Marvel, but I play with a single character. <br><br>I didn&apos;t really vibe with the other characters, so I said, screw it, I&apos;m giving up on making a team, I&apos;ll play solo.<br>And lemme tell ya, playing solo against a trio of characters is not for the weak of heart, you need to learn how to block. It&apos;s the only way, and so I did, and it&apos;s fun, it&apos;s an insane level of satisfaction when you learn<br>your opponent inside and out to block their blockstrings and mixups, it&apos;s like playing a souls game.<br><br>The funniest part is opponents that have no idea how to follow up after a certain point in their offense, you can tell they have never encountered someone who&apos;s actually survived that long
