This explains a lot. When I was a kid, my father used to hit me a lot and put me down. Explains why I’m still so fragile today as an adult.

My vagus nerve is such a sneaky, annoying backstabber. Just a hint of some catastrophic scenario playing in my head, and it’s all ready to go, flipping all sorts of switches in my body.

Massaging my vagus nerve below my ear and going down into my shoulder area using warm castor oil has quieted the tinnitus in my left ear. I also started taking B12.

Bloody lips and noses at 5, 6, 7 wasnt fun. Cptsd not fun. Allowing the sensations is best way for getting better. Not avoiding the feelings.

He had diaphragm hiatus , it can compress the vagus nerve mechanically but also through wrong breathing because the diaphragm gets a lot of stress from the breach. I am living it people underestimate this.

Thank you so much for your video. I'm 66 and have been suffering from various degrees of depression throughout my entire life. It's a constant battle living alone now with three grown children and eight grandchildren, and just learning that the severe pains started in around the year 2000 and was accused of faking pain among a lot of other things. I tried to research this but it's hard to do while I'm trying to put my life together or back together for the million time. But I believe that after hearing what he said and it was something to the effect of childhood traumas resulting in physical damaged later in life. I have been trying to get someone to believe me enough to help me. And what's really sad is to find out after all these many years that even my own children were of course into believing their dad was lazy and exaggerating pains. This has followed me for so long and I'm getting ready to see my pain doctor today but I decided to approach this appointment differently. It has become a struggle for me to do anything for myself almost. And for a doctor to punish you for being in pain although all the tests were there from years ago i don't think he ever looked at them. Anyway I've got to finish the letter it's taking me forever to get a printer and get it set up and then try to type the letter. I want to come back to your video so I've got it marked . Thank you
