I’m an absolute golf junkie. Just came across the channel. I watch nothing but golf content, fittings, lessons and matches. 10-2 cap in two years. Nailed everything that took me a long time to learn by error. Great channel, great content and delivered perfectly. You’ve got me standing infront of the tv eyes glued to numerous other videos. 👌 pat on the back

I love that you didn’t try to shorten this into the become a scratch golfer in 5 minutes bit. You laid out an actual plan and that plan takes time. Love this.

My golf philosophy is that on a par 4, I only need ONE good shot... the third. Second shot on a par 3, fourth on a par 5. So simple and allows for bad shots!

Golf is the ultimate game of self-improvement! Getting better in golf, as in life, requires focus, assessment, evaluation, reassessment, and execution. I found this video to be very helpful. Several of these concepts really jumped out to me. I think you have the foundations of a book. Golf is hard.

When I was 25 I went from a baseball player bomber with a 15 hcp to a 3 hcp with the help of an old pro. He made- one big change - and taught me how to CHOOSE the most reasonable shots. That’s it . The next three strokes were shot shaping, putting , and short game. That’s it . Awesome video!

Really really really good stuff here. I love the immediate honesty about no little tweaks are likely to make a huge impact, that you've gotta work on the big things. You also have a good and natural subtle sense of humor. Really enjoying these and glad I found your channel!

This is my first full season golfing again post back surgery. I’m 25, and used to be a 2.6 in high school (the fact that handicap doesn’t decay over time has already presented some challenges for me 😂), and I’m really working on getting my game back to the low single digits and hopefully achieve scratch one day.

Took me a bit, but I spent some time reconstructing my swing in order to better preserve my back, and my game is finally starting to shape up again. Scores aren’t there just yet (though I’m not mad at low 80s considering the length of my hiatus), but I know I could easily be shooting in the mid-high 70s consistently by taking a page out of your book and remembering not to SHORT SIDE. My shots have a dispersion, my alignment is off sometimes, and I gotta remember that despite how well I plan out the roll I should be getting on a green, it makes no difference if I draw the ball left of my target and have a carnival putt or a downhill wedge shot that’s gonna roll well past the hole. I just gotta take my medicine and play a safer shot sometimes.

I was so stoked last weekend when I finally pieced together a good, back preserving swing for both my irons and driver. I was +1 through 8, and doubled 9 because I tried to stick a narrow 90 yard wedge shot instead of utilizing the wealth of space on the back of the green. Needless to say this happened a couple more times on the back and my chances of breaking 80 slowly slipped away 😂.

Anyways, apologies for the wall of text. I just wanted to say thank you for the great video. I really enjoyed this format and found your breakdown to be a far more manageable plan for my journey towards scratch. I also had a unique appreciation for the “hit ball with stick” comment. I will absolutely be hanging around to watch more.

Wishing you tons of success
