Nadal was so good that his last RG was with a numb foot for the WHOLE tournament at 36, thats how dominant he was

Nadal wasn't just clay. Dude would have been dominant in any other era as well. We probably saw the greatest 3 players of all time in one era together.

Novak was quoted saying in an Interview that playing Nadal at RG in the final is most difficult challenge in all of sports. Agreed.

Nadal’s 14 French Opens is the best single event achievement in sports history and 2008 French final is the most dominant performance ever in a Slam

The fact that Rafa won 14 French Opens despite not playing in the tournament 5 times throughout his career is even more insane! <br>Which makes you wonder, if he would have won even more times if he played during those years!

14-0 FO finals, 81-match streak on clay, 112-4 FO record, 79-10 and 11 tiltes in 2005 as a teen, 50 consecutive sets won on 1 surface (clay), 484-51 (90.5%) clay-court record, 63 clay-court titles, 26 Masters 1000 on clay, etc. The GOAT of clay. 👑

no words can describe the greatness of Nadal on Clay. Definitely one of the greatest achievements in sports history, in the Golden Era of tennis

Nadal is somehow in the big 3 and is underrated. He is the greatest clay court player by an EXTREMELY LARGE margin, which makes it so much more insane that he win 6 hard court slams and 2 on grass not to mention how many finals he reached on those surfaces. Grass and Hard court make up 3 of the 4 majors which the skill is much more transferable. Nadal has the second most slams in the history of men's tennis and the book was stacked against him. He is an utterly insane player. His mental toughness and will to win are unimpeachable.
