  Nelson is so good in explaining how to think. Other chess youtubers often skip thinking process and just show good moves and why they are good. But Nelson is explaining the process how he came up to the conclusion that this is a good move. This is so important, I think these rating climbs helped me to get from about 1500 to almost 1800 in rapid. But now I am back to 1700 I think because I started to blitz out moves again and when I try to think longer I end up in a time trouble 😅

  It&apos;s amazing that when I watch you play, time seems to go so slow.... I can follow everything, seems pretty straightforward.... When I play though, &nbsp;it seems I barely have time to think and often find myself racing against the clock.<br>Or maybe it&apos;s just your peaceful way of playing, makes it looks that way. That&apos;s why I told Avo, you&apos;re the best YouTube creator for anyone that wants to learn chess at almost any level.

  The book Nelson showed for the Smith-Morra was also a recommendation Danya gave for everyone who plays the Silician as black or wants to play the Gambit with White. It has basically every single line you can think of explained and analysed. Really a great book!

  Your the one who got me playing chess i was a 300 and now moved up to a solid 800 and have been and tipping &nbsp;towards 900

  The Smith-Morra really brings out the crazy in everyone who plays it. &nbsp;In the best way possible, considering the fact that now two of my three favorite masters to watch are using it.

Another commenter said your videos are so <b>*accessible*</b> and that is so spot-on. With so many YouTube chess channels I&apos;d been bouncing around indecisively, but now it feels like all I need is this channel of yours, for many reasons, but largely because you&apos;re so thorough. Listening to your play-by-play explanations of moves has clearly helped me spot tactics in my own games like never before.   I wish you would bring the blunder wheel back for just one game, not an entire video, but just for fun add a &apos;lets see an NM blunder and try to hold on vs ~1400/1500&apos;

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLRSTyQ1Z_c&amp;t=1570">26:10</a> you need to sacrifice ur knight to f7. if he takes ur knight with rook. you just move ur queen to c8 with check, if he close with rook, you just take the rook. king move on h7 and you check mate on g7...

  You&apos;re getting quite good explaining the thought process of a serious chess player. I liked your 2023/2024 rating climb. But I loved your last videos when you are going into detail why one move is preferable to another or going into detail of Stockfish suggestions and looking up, what it suggests and why. Very illustrative.
