  This might be me being the friend that’s too woke, but I started seeing a lot of this gross out food eating content as the rise in thin culture exploded again. It seems like as we have slowly decided again that thin is the only way to be happy, healthy, attractive, etc, we have turned food into a moral conversation again. Watching thin people eat all the disgusting, fatty foods makes people wonder how they stay so skinny. Watching fat people eat them provides entertainment on how they’re so fat and gross. It feels like it all plays on stereotypes.
