You can only get together with like-minded people who are awake, but they are few and far between. Most people, including my own children, are on holiday. 4/5 times a year. It's like they fiddle while Rome Burns. It's lonely being awake.

The absurdity of being calmly coached through the end of life as we know it

The absurdity of knowing some people exist in a bubble where these ideas don’t even exist

Here in Thailand today, gas lines and 15 dollar limit on purchases. Some stations closed because they've run out. Our economy here is slowing to a stop. Good Luck everybody, gird yourselves and gather your loved ones.

Sharing widely. Commenting to boost in the algorithm. At 63, I’ve known since childhood, that our system is unsustainable. Care work and earth regeneration will be my focus. Keep calm and carry on

I had never heard of you before this video came across my feed. A framework, direction and ideas... Brilliant!!
I have had this feeling for decades, now the world is catching up. It's hard to find a tribe in the conditions of the world today. I see the value of building new systems in the shadows of the not yet fallen ones. Earth leaders will be born. World leaders will dissolve. Where are my Southeast U.S. folks? Let's have a conversation.

Nate, the energy and care you put into educating us is invaluable. You help me think more broadly and feel less stuck. You're like pixie dust in my day. Your podcasts help me have these conversation, and take personal action in new and small steps. Would you consider having small group Zooms with your audiance? Charge a fee and allow like-minded people to begin broader community discussions? Please consider how valuable this could be to many who appreciate the work you bring forward.

May your path be full of blessings back to you.

Staying human is so hard right now for most of the human population. I feel strongly that those of us who understand the implications of what is happening in the world have to start to step up - however reluctantly, and even at the smallest scale - to help other people find a way through the impending chaos. This compelling Frankly crystallises that for me and inspires me to do more. Thanks Nate, as always.

I love the way you call our energy system "magic." It really exposes the weirdness of our systems. Also your "what to do" focus is super helpful and me and my comrades are building community.
