Mbappé should ask Ronaldo and Thierry Henry for tips as those 2 did the same transition and became world class

Henry was the opposite. He came to Arsenal from Juventus as a winger. High quality but not contributing to the team as much as he could. Wenger saw he was better off as a centre-forward; worked with him. Henry knows what he's talking about.

7:11 Calling Mbappe better player than Kane, then immediately explaining why he’s not. Mbappe is better at highlights. Kane is better for the team. Much, much better.

What was going through Perez's mind when Xabi, a guy who was part of the locker room with Ramos, Pepe, Ronaldo, Bale, and Benzema, arrived and told him he was coaching a kindergarten, not personalities? In my opinion, instead of sacking him, he should have given him a free hand and told him he could get rid of everyone who was making this kindergarten happen. It used to be clear you'd never be bigger than the club, but now I have the impression that it's seriously declined.

I dont understand why football does this so much though when getting superstars. They get players just because theyre superstars even if they dont fit in the team. I feel like alot of the time they sign a player just so somebody else cant get them. In the NBA it happens sometimes, but like you dont get a center player and ask them to play point guard or vice versa. A ball handling point guard isnt brought on a team to be a small forward lol. In the NBA there IS versatile players, but majority of the time players stick to their true primary role. In the NFL you dont pick up a quarterback and ask them to be a wide receiver, or a running back and ask them to be a linebacker.

Im not saying players cant be versatile in football, but this is a prime example of someone who just cant adapt and needs to be in their primary/natural position. Same thing happened with James Rodriguez at RMA

As a United fan that sounds a lot like what the issue was with Rashford. Too greedy to be on the wing, not tough enough to be a no.9 and generally quite lazy.
