He purposefully keeps them close in case he ever ends up in court over the story and the original image, saying that he knows there&apos;s certain individuals in Hollywood who are always looking to capitalize on an IP that seemingly has no copyright or author attached to it, and that he would prefer Smile Dog to remain in the hands of the Creepypasta community.

  I&apos;m like, 99% certain Mariko is indeed the source of Jeff the Killer, but I doubt the exact picture used still exists, which is unfortunate.

  Friend, I hope you can read this: there was a Latin American Spanish dub of Crybaby Lane that is now lost. The movie aired on Nickelodeon Argentina in Spanish around 2003 at 1:00 AM with ZERO promotion, and it was broadcast only that one time. The dub is believed to have been produced in Venezuela. A few years ago, there was a 30-second clip of the Latin American dub on YouTube, but it can no longer be found anywhere; I hope your community can help us find it.

  I&apos;m calling it - the original Jeff the Killer image is likely secretly in a position similar to the Me and my Friends pilot, where a small community has the original image and is secretly erasing actual sources of the image and sending fake DMCA takedown notices Brandon White-style to other people who might have it, as well as poisioning search efforts.

  I find the fact that the image used for &quot;Jeff The Killer&quot; was made back in like 2000-2001 and been floating on the internet since is far more interesting and scary than any of the stories LOL

  Part of the research on the original image of “Teddy Bear” was conducted by “TheKillerSlash”. I think it’s a little unfair not to mention him, knowing how long he’d been trying to solve this :(
