  If the audio sounds funky at all, it was because halfway through recording this, I had an audio driver update and it messed up my mic settings and I&apos;m STILL going through everything fixing it all. &nbsp;<br>It really set all my volumes to like 5%, mic included and I&apos;m still crying about that a week later ngl. <br>Curse you audio drivers! &nbsp;Curse youuuuu! - shakes me lil fist into the sky -

  Watched the video in full now and wanted to add in another layer of irony. Despite how hard Andrew tries to recreate his uncle’s success his own cousin achieves far more depending on the ending to Command you get in far less time. Dash genuinely is everything Andrew wants to be. Additionally I actually agree on Andrew’s incompetence being overstated and would argue that Andrew is in fact a well above average pilot. The issue for him comes in the fact that he’s a simply above average pilot in a Team of GREAT pilots and going after pilots well above his skill level in Star Fox. “You’re out of your league” indeed….

  I find Andrew interesting because of how he continues to be a thorn in the team&apos;s side. He&apos;s a survivor! For all his flaws, Andrew Oikonny never gives up!

  I think it says something that the one time Fox isn&apos;t compared to his father is his adventure on Sauria. (The only time that James is ever mentioned there is an optional moment with Cheat Tokens in the WarpStone&apos;s maze.) Meanwhile, Andrew is so obsessed with his uncle&apos;s influence that even NINE YEARS after the Lylat Wars, he is STILL throwing his weight around while proclaiming how important he is due to being related to Andross, despite the fact that seemingly the rest of the Lylat system has moved on. Andrew Oikonny is stuck in the past.

  Honestly with how you describe Andrew and his actions in assault, it feels like if he took a moment to realize and accept that he’s not his uncle, Andrew could be a very intimidating commander.

  I’m so glad you made an actual deep and detailed explanation on Andrew! It’s things I’ve believed for many years and it feels so good to know that I’m not alone.<br><br>I loved how you pointed out that Andrew is nothing like Andross and that it’s a GOOD thing. It shows his humanity and that fundamentally he’s just a boy stuck in the past. <br><br>He really has the potential to undergo a very compelling and deep redemption arc, if Nintendo sees him more than just a joke. <br><br>I would love to see Peppy or Krystal break through to him. Cause there’s so much they can do with that.

  I really like how Dash is a perfect foil to Andrew. &nbsp;Andrew wants to be seen as &quot;great&quot; as his Uncle, and looks down on everyone else despite his lack of skills and coasting through life thanks to his money and status. While Dash is shown to have the skills to be as impactful as his Grandfather, if not more, he wants nothing to do with his family name and looks up to the very people who defeated him.

  One thing that was interesting in Star Fox Zero is that, if you make it to area 3 via the alternate route through Cornaria (and Aquarosa) you reach the location BEFORE it&apos;s fully under attack, and who is there setting everything up? Andrew. While he doesn&apos;t reveal much on his own: it does showcase his tactical aptitudes. <br><br>keep in mind: before Team Star Fox gets to area 3 in a &nbsp;normal path, Andrew is long gone and Andross&apos; forces have almost already taken the Gigarilla from the location long after Andrew has left, having prepped the entire assault. Andrew clearly has the capacity to command and organize attacks well before cornaria&apos;s forces can intercept him, he may not be the best pilot, but he is certainly far from useless.<br><br>And it doesn&apos;t end there. Chasing Pigma through an early sector starts a bonus mission &quot;meddlesome mercs&quot; where he and Andrew team up to take you on with two venom battleships boradsiding you with turrets. Andrew KNOWS he can&apos;t beat you on his own, so he and Pigma do everything they can to beat you with every advantage, including using upgraded personal weapons. He may not be the best or most honorable pilot, but one thing is for sure: Andrew far from stupid when it comes to opening an engagement with the intent to win.<br><br>It may not be cannon to any 64-origin of the Lylat wars, but it is a great showcase of his strong points.

  Drew got such a glow up in the recent remake, I love this smug little nepo dipstick. I love Wolf&apos;s open disdain when telling his team to protect him. I love seeking him out in combat just to pick on him specifically, sending his self-important butt crashing to the ground. He&apos;s such a well-realized character, so much fun to hate!
