Thank You for posting this. Not only did I listen once through... I listened a second time through as there is so much information to absorb.
So much struck a cord within me, that yes, I will listen to this a few times more.
We are only the best versions of ourself when we are completely honest with ourselves... warts/flaws and all.

Thank You for what you do, which is trying to keep many of us on the sane side, with the tools we need to self correct our course.

Remember to be kind to yourself, your pets and each other. ❤

I am happy enough just finding people that share my hobbies of model car building and collecting vintage Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars....

I'm anxious attachment person transitioning into secure attachment, and learning more about my AA has allowed me to go from being in a situation that NEVER gets resolved to feeling dysregulated for 5 days to a week while I walk myself through the process of whats happening and being aware of it. The part where I actually feel closer to someone when they are making me anxious is what I think is so fascinating, and now find almost comedic. I'll take 5-7 days of hell vs years of dealing with ghosts. Here's to hoping I can get the dysregulation down to one bad day or one bad afternoon lol

Explaining emotional flash backs was incredibly helpful Anna. Reflecting back, this explains a lot. Thank-you for all the effort you put into helping those of us with childhood trauma.

I resonate with Katie so much. But my guy says he is depressed and I make every thing about me and our relationship. So, I am always stressed because I dont want to pressure him and suppress my emotions.

Avoidants can really like you and still withdraw between dates. And if they unintentionally love bombing you quickly then you get confused and want to know what’s happening and when the next date is 😅
