  Just when I was thinking of seeing <b>The Never-Better-Than-Me Friend</b> this afternoon, this video popped up.<br>The thing about these friendships is that they genuinely want to see you doing well. Just never better than them. And that&apos;s what makes them so difficult to spot.<br>They&apos;ll cheer you on, encourage you and celebrate the small wins. But when you really start to shine, something changes.<br>I&apos;ve seen this pattern so many times. When I shone, I was ridiculed. When I offered my professional services and gave her a price, even telling her I was willing to reduce it to fit her budget, I was mocked and offered a PA role instead.<br>When I finally called it out, the response was simply, “All good.”<br>Then last week, she tried to gauge my pocket. I answered in a deliberately innocent way, which exposed exactly where the question was going. She walked straight into it. When I held the mirror up, the response was, once again, “All good.”<br>And then there&apos;s this. Two years ago, I received a major seven-figure opportunity and invited her in. She never &nbsp;congratulated me.<br>At some point, you stop explaining what you&apos;re seeing and start paying attention to the pattern.<br>So no, I&apos;m definitely not visiting her today.

  I have a whole neighbor that I thought I was friends with when I first moved into the building. Until I started to notice the side eyes, the huffing and puffing when I talk about my own life and success, the belittling me… It became clear that she was jealous. So I just stopped talking to her one day. It took some time, but she gets the point now. I really don’t understand how we grow to be in our 40s and still behave this way.

  Everything you said was true, I have decided that I will keep my socials but I never post my husband, kids in the future, and I keep my business moves to myself

  My aunt, a whole nurse, anesthesis with a literal mansion in south Florida. I don&apos;t think she had any reason to be jealous of me. But let me tell you something. I had a small but big apartment, just for a single woman. And it was beautiful with views of the pond and the ducks and the beautiful flowers in every room. My aunt came and did everything and laid the seeds for me to lose my apartment at a time of crisis for me at a health crisis. &nbsp;So I got sick. I had 3 bedrooms, and I wanted to get a roommate, she literally called me and told me, don&apos;t get a roommate!! And that I am supposed to go up to the welfare office and beg them to give me welfare.I kid you not.
