  An episode where you spend a few hours making tongs but each set you make you have to use those to make a slightly larger set. Ends when time runs out or you can’t reasonably lift the tongs

  My favorite thing about this is that it starts as a &quot;Is the Hammer still in manufacturing condition?&quot; but after the first test where the answer is a resounding yes, it changes to &quot;Is Alec worthy of his hammer?&quot;. That second question is what makes this channel great.

  Alec, at about <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0VaPyWo90w&amp;t=821">13:41</a> (a minute and thirty seconds into the timed portion when you start forging the metal) you can see the bolt holding the packing gland on the ram dancing around quite a bit. &nbsp;You may want to check those packing gland bolts before running it full steam again.
