  The ark of the covenant is found in the citadel DLC in the storage at the bottom in one of the glitching record rooms you have to turn around to see it flash

  The whole game is full of religion, the "Shepard" guiding their people through a rough time. Their 12 followers "Apostles " in game 2. The Quarens are a lot like the Jews, having to roam the desert for 300 years. The game is completely chocked, full of religion.

  Interesting video!! &nbsp;I did see a lot of references to religion in Mass Effect as well. I have to say for me Thane&apos;s belief system, &nbsp;being the weapon and therefore not being responsible, &nbsp;reminds me of the &nbsp;conversation around assault weapons in certain parts of the world (weapons don&apos;t kill, people kill). <br><br>So much of the game&apos;s dialogue pulls from and expands on issues or beliefs&apos; from our world. <br>IMO the writers kept from going too deep into the subject because of its real life history. &nbsp;Religion is used for faith, a reason to be and our wish for something beyond our life times. &nbsp;Unfortunately, it has also &nbsp;been misused throughout the ages to justify horrible things &nbsp;by horrible people. That makes it a very contentious discussion for a game so kudos to the writers for how they handled this.<br><br>See...you made me think so must be a great discussion. &nbsp;Thanks! 😊

  I think the reason we tend to degrade Christianity (in this context) is the known association, history, and practiced application of the religion in our world. It&apos;s hard to dissociate what we know versus what we can assume or imagine the religion becoming in the ME universe.<br><br>Qurian ancestor/homeland spirituality, Turian spirit whorship, Drell polytheism, Asari poly-spirituality, and Hanar Xeno-theism are new, different, and interesting by comparison. I do think that if we knew how these beliefs are used in practice and history, it would better inform the way we perceive them. <br><br>Suvi was my fave example of human religious practice (though i wouldn&apos;t classify it as such) because it was a rare example of Deism that isn&apos;t always explored in any genre or in real life. I am not a religious person at all, so i have no dog in this fight. I just like that we were able to confront her melding of science and a higher power and how each influenced and strengthened the other.
