It literally written into Canadian Law that saying sorry is not, for the purposes of court, admission to guilt and cannot be used as such

Canadians can be self-deprecating but no one can put us down.

I have to disagree with something said in the video. Canada is not a melting pot, that's the US. Canada is a mosaic of cultures.

Way back in the mid-1970s, my then boyfriend and I went on vacation to Mexico. I bought something or other from an old woman, a street vendor. In Spanish, she asked me with a jaded expression whether I was American. When I answered &quot; No, Canada&quot;, she broke into the widest smile.<br>So even back then...

I was in the Canadian Navy doing embargo boardings in the Gulf. The ships we boarded were always happy to learn that it was the Canadians doing the boarding, they hated it when the Americans did the boardings

Vancouver Islander here in BC, Canada. While I would never feel comfortable making the claim that Canada is the best country in the world, I can confidently say it feels like the best place of what I&apos;ve seen of the world for my personality, likes, interests, etc. If I could choose anywhere in the world to live and immediately be transported there, it would be exactly where I&apos;m at.

I’m Canadian and I don’t think we are the best country on earth. &nbsp;( if I did I would be American 😂) That doesn’t mean I’m not proud to be Canadian! we are not flashy, or brash. However we could improve of lots of different ways, but we are always trying to do better, and improve. I love that we are seen as trustworthy, and keep our word, and I can travel the world and be proud of my flag 🇨🇦
