  From someone who’s been in real estate my entire life, from selling it, to being a custom home builder, I can tell you that no one is worse to deal with than people who have rented a property they could never afford to buy. Their expectations are unrealistically high & they generally have a very difficult time adapting to what their budget will actually buy. I can’t help but wonder why Rebecca & her husband had apparently never owned property before, especially at their age. At least they finally got on the property ladder, but unfortunately, they won’t have a  long time to build up the equity they could have had if they’d just bought something when they were younger.

  I’m from the United States and find it interesting that most people in England do not like a one level home. When buying a house in the United States, they are nearly found everywhere. People desire one level, especially with any age.

  The couple were new for me, but the lady with the million dollar budget was a repeat. Still nice to view again, though. Love this show, thanks for the episode.

  I&apos;m only halfway through, but I am thinking that the lady, her mother and her daughter, should be moving to a smaller house in the Highgate area, with the possibility of building a garden annexe. The family needs to be within easy reach of the medical services they are already using. With the budget they could adapt a smaller house to accommodate mobility issues, or they could even purchase land between London and the coast, and build a one storey house.

  I&apos;m curious to know why she needs four bedrooms plus two annexes. &nbsp; Seems like they could look at two bedroom houses, even ones with one upstairs bedroom (for the daughter) and a garden big enough for the two annexes.
