Scotty Anderson is also a underrated Legend ! But in terms of the influence, I'd definitely said Brent is the one.

Brother, you are a monster picker. I've played guitar for 50 years and marvel at guys like you who just seem born to do it. I'm depressed and jealous at the same time.

I didn’t care for country music and then I became a DJ at a country radio station. Late 90’s. Then I heard these solos, and found out they were usually Brent. I learned to appreciate the genre, and have the utmost respect for the players. I do think the 90’s put out some pretty good country tunes, too.

Country pickers are shredders. I just can't get into the vocal stylings of modern country music. Great video, Andy.

You have the best videos Andy. They are loaded with tons of great information. Not only are you an incredible player, you are a phenomenal teacher also. This will point us wannabe country players in the right direction.🔥🔥🔥

I know the digital age has arrived and I've been trying to get with it but I just can't put my deluxe in the closet yet. I go back to it everytime I get aggravated with my modelers...especially when I'm trying to dial in my tele tones. Great video! Thanks!

I am happy every time I am able to throw something country to anything I play.

My dad has a 1963 Fender Reverb Deluxe, too. I grew up listening to that amp. Yep, I'm spoiled.

This video has made me realize I may have only been exposed to country music because of 90s sitcoms. Learned about Rascal Flatts because of Yes Dear, and I distinctly remember hearing Mercury Blues for the first time on Home Improvement.
