  To give some context, more enemies were not uncensored in the most recent update (v1.2). That was to show off that we have plans to make an unlocalized version of this hack in both English and Japanese. I should have been more clear which is my fault. As to clear some confusion on why we kept certain sprites uncensored, EarthBound's localization was handled differently from EBB and how it handled censorship. For example, the Kraken has blood dripping from its mouth, so there wouldn't have been a problem with the Shroudly keeping its blood. The gangster zombies were censored not because of the blood itself, but because they are gunshot wounds, which probably wouldnt have passed NOA's guidelines at the time.

  I'm glad most fans are treating this and Mother Encore as a "two cakes" situation rather than brushing off EBBR for being based on EarthBound's existing engine and not having as many ambitious changes or Encore for not being finished yet.

  Pippi being like that is a reference to her original inspiration, Pippi Longstocking whose known for not being the brightest but being described as having almost superhuman strength.

  It&apos;s only natural that Pippi is that strong. She is based on the Swedish children&apos;s book character Pippi Longstocking, and she was able to do stuff like pick up a horse over her head and she was generally chaotic too

  One of the biggest things for me was that they scaled down the maps to match earthbound&apos;s scale. And because of this, there&apos;s no need for the run button which is why i think the stamina was added. The maps in the original were unnecessarily giant. This game keeps most of the layouts while making things more visible.

I’ve been playing 1.0 right now and it’s pretty easy to level him up when you have a teddy bear since enemies 9 times out of 10 attack a teddy bear you’re holding before attacking one of your actual party members. I was able to get Lloyd up to Ninten’s level (and the money for decent enough equipment) in quick time
