  I love Tobey Maguire&apos;s Spider-Man the most solely cause his brokeness and near homelessness was an actual problem for him. He had Mr. Ditkovich hounding him every time he walked into his apartment.

  Also the biggest problem with this Spider-Man is how extremely trusting he is of authority to a fault. Like he has 2 movies seeing Tony Stark’s tech being used for evil, a movie where the villain tricks him by pretending to be on his side, and presumably has lived through the super-Nazis almost taking over SHIELD and a dozen other wacky government super-conspiracies, but in Brand New Day is just like “yeah these Damage Control guys seem on the up and up, sure they seem to be toying with every villain’s technology from other movies and have somehow convinced the evil ninjas to work with them, but after all I’ve experienced, doesn’t seem like anything to investigate here
