  Fun Fact: Jon Hamm and Gerard Butler were both considered for the role of Bruce Wayne. Both actors have worked previously with Zack Snyder; Jon Hamm on Sucker Punch (2011), and Gerard Butler on 300 (2006).

  Let&apos;s not forget what came before. The pre 2000s DC movies were a time of confusion, intriguing head tilts and feverish fun. The &quot;lets make a movie with what we&apos;ve got&quot; vibe of films like Daredevil, Catwoman, Steel and the like have a sense of fun that bigger budgets often erase.<br><br>Plus there&apos;s the Adam Weat Batman movie. Absolute gold cinema ❤❤❤❤ <br><br>It&apos;s bizzare considering most of DC&apos;s animation projects are spectacular

  The original idea was to have George Miller do a Justice League movie, which would THEN have stand alone Superman, Batman, Flash, etc.<br><br><br><br>... I think this would have worked.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8P8ALhm2pLc&amp;t=175">2:55</a> WB did this to themselves. They had YEARS ahead of Marvel before there even was a MCU to make a proper DCU in the 90s, but they got lazy, sloppy and fearful and those scars to this day are still being felt.

  The Penguin is perfect as it is. A second season would only diminish it unless a very specific narrative is meticulously planned.
