With extremely sensitive skin, Vanicream Daily Moisturizer is my GOAT.

Sadly, Cerave,Neutrogena, and Vani Cream are not cruelty free, so I made the choice to find products which are.So far, Ceramedx lotion and cream are pretty good, and Thayer makes a very affordable and gentle facial cleanser.

Goldbond is almost criminally underrated.

The are multiple lawsuits with CERAVE due to Cancer causing ingredients in products, I am so sad because I have a few faves 😢 CERAVE face moisturizing cream & CERAVE face wash for acne! 😳

I use Lacura from Aldi, very affordable, very good and, my personal preference, Cruelty free. Even though I’m 66 I still have the oily T-zone of combination skin that I’ve always had and some of the anti-aging moisturisers are far too oily/ greasy for my skin. Since using Lacura my skin is looking and feeling better than it has done for years.

All Charlotte Tilbury products are so overpriced and overhyped. The magic cream is awful. Having said hat, I was given a sample of the La Prarie Cavier cream a few years ago. I was skeptical, but after just one use, the cream made my skin glow for days. I have never used it again, but it does work.

I am 74 and most people think I am in my mid 50s (or so they say). I have used regular blue Nivea since I was 13. Good thing about it, is that it's so cheap that you can use it many times per day, or as a night cream, sun cream, body lotion, makeup remover ...whatever you need. Nivea was revolutionary when it come in Germany in 1911, because it was the first time they had managed to "trap" water inside fat. The fat they used was lanolin, sheep fat, and later vegans found they could not use Nivea because of that, even if the real lanolin was long since exchanged with synthetically made. La Meer apparently contains the same as Nivea minus the lanolin which has been exchanged with some seaweed thing. Lately they have also found that lanolin is the best remedy agains crepe skin, which I for some reason don't have...I bet thanks to Nivea, which comes in many variations these days (the one I prefer for my body is the one in a blue plastic bottle), but the best one is the one in the blue tin at night, because it is a wee bit greasy for daytime use.

They do not all contain pure caviar, do not all have music played to them to enhance the efficacy and have the same formulation despite having much the same ingredients. It is the combination which makes the difference - how much of each, and the process of manufacture which can by extremely high-tech. We love the jars, the packaging, even the cello around. Big differences ...

I tried Olay Regenerist and my face started burning immediately, so I had to wash my face. The next day, I put a bit on my hand and the same thing happened. I am an ultra-sensitive person, so I would suggest that other people like me not try this product.
