I especially liked the use of the flat headed screws and aligning the slots parallel to the edge of the hinge. That’s real attention to detail.

I discovered your video's about a week ago. I've not got any work done since i started watching them. Wife hasn't noticed though because she has been watching as fascinated as me. 😂 I must say though I work in reverse to you. You started with scrap, i finish with it. You are the only person i have ever seen to be A jack of all trades and master of them all. RESPECT

Bravo. The fact that there are features carefully and flawlessly incorporated which the customer will never see is the mark of a true craftsman.

I'm 54 and have been designing and building hand crafted furniture from the age of 16. It's a pleasure to watch you cut those mitered hidden dovetails. You don't get craftsmanship of that caliber very often. A beautiful piece that I'm sure your client will love it. Well done.

I have watched people like Frank Howarth and John Heisz for a few years and I am so glad the £13,000 turntable popped up on my feed, now I can add your videos to the list of amazing craftsmen to watch. Also appreciate the no fuss, no music just workshop sounds and love the subtitles.

Our words are important, yet I’ve none worthy of your work. Thank you for sharing your time with us.

Amazing skill but the icing on the cake for me was when you lined up the slots in the screws in the hinges!

Making hidden dovetail joints is a Victorian trait. Elegant and practical with a beauty that will never be seen. Just because it’s hidden, doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be absolutely staggering. I suspect Russ harbours a deep respect for Victorian craftsmen…….he does seem to have an affinity (in my mind anyway) for the “old ways”

The attention to detail and AMAZING skill are phenomenal. I've never seen such imagination, skill and precision in the manufacture of ANYTHING! I was completely memorised by this gentleman's ability. I'm so pleased the customer was, 'over the moon', with the finished product. If they WERE'NT, he/she should be deported there permanently. LOL.

I think out of all of the woodshop channels I subscribe to, you might be my favorite. There are plenty of amazing woodworkers out there with shops that make you drool but looking at your setup, you can tell that it is about the love of the work and not about having a sparkly clean space with the highest end of everything draping your walls. It's more...approachable.
