A cool tip for Growing Together is that the wedding certificate gives a different moodlet based on the couple's current state in their marriage. If they are content or happy, they get a happy moodlet if they've broken up, there's a chance for an angry or sad moodlet, or if one sim has died, they could get happy, or sad depending on what memories it brings up. To get these moodlets you need to click on the certificate where it's on the wall and select reminisce.

fun base-game version of the nightlight: monsters will not appear beneath the top bunks of bunkbeds, so i usually give all my kids a top bunk and give them a desk or bookshelf beneath

Welp, here are the honorable mentions. 1- if two vampires with the bat form skill try for baby as bats, the baby will have that skill as default. 2- magical sims have the "familiar" interation instead of companion with their pet. 3- if a child sim manages to get the "responsible" positive trait as they become adults, wrok performance will be better and they will always use the "work hard" option without burnout. 4- additionally, if you manage to reach the top of the "scouting" career, the child sim gets a special trait. You can change the after school activity after getting the trait. those are all I can remember now lol. Found a new one! 5- if you change the radio station to Metal, the related action menu will CAPSLOCK and you will ROCK! 🤘, its super quirky lol

My Sim married an aged down Father Winter. To my surprise he never died. He's now married to his 7th wife and has had 22 children combined.

toddlers can learn potty training from other toddlers who are going potty. when one toddler is going potty have the other toddler "watch" and thier potty training bar will go up.

I'm surprised you didn't mention the boy/girl baby trick with Pop/Alternative music during prengancy. I was expecting it right after the strawberry/carrot tip.

Usually I know all the "things you didn't know about the Sims 4" mentioned in these types of videos, but not this one!  You truly blew my mind with several of them, like ghosts who died by murphy bed being able to tap other sim's energy need, or the Space Energy Drink, or ghosts possessing bonfires and bubble blowers, or the firefighter outfit giving confidence and firefighting ability!

My main money tip is growing orchids and selling them. My sims were so rich so quickly I didn't know what to do with all the money.... So don't plant too much if you still want a little bit of a challenge 😅

You can stock the pond with any fish shown in the Household collection - that is, with any fish your sim have "unlocked". Which is also quite lucrative way of making money in the beginning of the game. You can basically dig a pond on your lot (free), buy a "fisihing allowed prestocked" sign and stock it with the most expensive fish your sim have unlocked  - sturgeon, for example. Also, there is an easy way to "unlock" fish without fishing - i.e. by buying fish in Brindleton Bay.
