scrolled for a bit and didnt see anyone mention this: share burden basically equalizes all the needs between spouses so when you have a spouse with super low needs and one with all needs met they can share their needs so they would both be half full. can be helpful in certain situations!

The master chef is a 4/5 for me as a family player- not having food go off is great for dropping a feast into a toddler's room and locking that toddler into free range with no worries for a week!

You forgot about Grilled Cheese aspiration, which once compleated allows you to summon grilled cheese and make painting of it. It is a hidden aspiration and you have to eat grilled cheese 3 times in a row to unlock. But even then, it is still in base game.

The fun of the mansion baron reward trait for me is earning it from parents working while teens are in the household. Then when they move out and start on their own, they get that rebate when you build their first home and you can kinda imagine it functions like inherited wealth.

I actually like the fact that the no jealousy thing still adds sentiments. It makes it easier for me to role-play why my sims wife suddenly totally ignores his cheating. I usually imagine that she's spent so many years catching him sleeping around, that she's come to accept it and doesn't bother cussing him out anymore. But that doesn't stop her being hurt and angry inside. If it weren't for the sentiments still being there, it'd feel like she'd suddenly turned into a robot.

The Handy trait does add composting containers to toilets creating fire toilets. Just ask Lilsimsie about that one. Lol!!!

Shrewd is great for generational play: your first generation gets rich on (say) gardening, then the teenagers of the family can easily complete the aspiration and get that boost to their money for when they leave the family home and have to make money from scratch.

For the emotional paintings, you could make a emotional death prison. Where you would fill each room will a type of painting like angry for example and have them all die from different emotions. That could be considered as adding gameplay but thats probably just me 😂

Beloved, Vicarious, Shrewd, Handy are the most practical imo. Perfect Host wasn’t worth it for the amount of work the aspiration takes, and some of the creative rewards are underwhelming.

For the book of life reward they forgot to mention that if the sim is alive when anyone reads the book it fills completely the needs of the sim the book is about.

The soulmate aspiration trait's "share burden" interaction equalizes both sim's needs, pooling them and splitting evenly across the two. It can be pretty helpful when one of the sim's needs are abysmal, and the other sim has the time to look after their needs :)
