  I doubt @ConnorDawg or @AbroadinJapan will read the comments, but these streams are extraordinarily relaxing and therapeutic for me. I feel like I&apos;m always stressed out, and the cycling streams are amazing ways to decompress.<br>I haven&apos;t been to Japan since my honeymoon in 2019, and I hope I can go over there again with my wife and daughters to see for myself the amazing sights these streams show us.

  I ended up doing this ride with my wife based on Connor&apos;s suggestions a few years back. We went in Dec 2024, and it was awesome! Easily the top adventure we did on our Month in Japan. I recently suffered a back injury and worried I&apos;d never get to do this ride again. Luckily, my recovery is going well, and it looks like I&apos;ll be able to see the bike trails of Onomichi again in the near future! <br><br><b>*Word of warning*</b> <br><br>While it is beginner-friendly, it is easy to miss a turn at 2-3 points while following the blue line and end up on much harder trails with steep climbs and drops with little civilization. I suggest starting early, studying your map every morning (making note of bridge entrances/exits specifically), bringing plenty of water as there aren&apos;t always places to fill up, keeping a GPS maps app visible on the handlebars, and doing some training before you commit to it. It&apos;s all worth it. It&apos;s a trip I hope to do a few times more in the future.
