In 1995, Marilyn was opening for NIN ON the Self Destruct; Downward Spiral tour. I was one of the producers of the filming for
A 2 boxed VHS set that was Released as a Documentary of Tour and a collection of Nine Inch Nails unreleased videos . Brian remains to this day top 3 most brilliant, well read, humourous, insightful, thoughtful humans I have ever met. We spent hours talking after the shows. He is an amazing artist in all aspects of his life, a true visionary. I miss our Dawn Treading conversations, truly some of the best years of my life.

Loved how you let Pogo have his whole say. Made sense like a bubble makes sense

Holy shit, this had me glued from start to finish, legit one if the best videos on manson I've ever seen. Informative and incredibly in depth while still engaging.

Something I've always thought is that Manson is such a striking, visually interesting looking guy. His features are so angular and distinguished, like he was designed to be a comic book villain. Something like the Joker. Those features got lost as he got chubbier, but in the late 90s, he absolutely did look like the Antichrist superstar.

We saw Manson open for NIN in 94. It was amazing. Then he came back through Jacksonville headlining with Jack Off Jill as the opener. We were on the front row against the stage. It was fucking life changing. Inspirational.

This version of the band were such distinct characters. Pogo is such a great character.

Gidget Gein is soo cool, I love how honest he was, and really shows how far creativity, ingenuity and a fuck ton of self believe and hard work can take you: "yeah, we sucked but we could write songs" is basically a paraphrase of what Manson would later inmortalize in GAOG with "we are not fantastic mfs but we played them on TV". That line says it all

41:10 this only shows how timeless Marilyn Manson's message is, nothing has changed.
