  I really like the whole “the level of magic you can cast is directly linked to the amount of kick back your body can take” because it justifies why you still have things like barbarians as well as why there aren’t entire armies of wizards casting Power Word: Skrunch.

  Three things that came to mind<br>1) Normie if gonna be a fire bender<br>2) Normie will learn modern physics and chemistry to make his magic better.<br>3) a mana battery backpack that Normie can use to charge really powerful spells and recharge with radiant mana in the air.
