  I just learned that one of the most injured Parkland shooting survivor, Anthony Borges, recently won the rights to the shooters name. So now any time the shooter wants to do an interview, anyone wants to make a show/movie/docuseries, ANYTHING - Anthony now has to approve it. This enables truecrime to be made more ethically and with more consideration/respect for victims and families of victims.

  I’ll be honest, as an actor myself, I think we need to stop shying away from holding actors accountable for being involved with these kinds of horrible projects. They are absolutely capable of turning down bad roles and arguing against filming problematic scenes. Actors have a lot more agency than we give them credit for, and I’m getting kind of tired of the way we let them off the hook for being involved in scummy director’s scummy projects. They are absolutely accountable too.

  Having some empathy for what made Ed Gein snap = fine, he was traumatized and unwell, we can feel for that. &nbsp;<br>Failing to extend that same empathy and respect to his victims, making shit up, romanticizing his actions, and villainizing an innocent woman whose biggest irl crime was claiming ONCE that she knew him better than she actually did = what the fuck, Ryan???

  He exploits the deceased who can’t defend themselves but ALSO exploits those LIVING! The Menendez brothers hated his depiction and said it was absolutely untrue, with some really strange unnecessary details completely fabricated. Why does he do this to real people
