  My GRANDFATHER happened to be there that night; my grandfather happened to have been best friends with all of them and for a lifetime, including Bill Harrah.. they never saw color, they never saw races. This kind of racism and attack is despicable beyond words and I heard about this story for over 40 years of my lifetime. It was not only Dean who stood up for Sammy. It was an army. That they always had BEEN & they always would.  While my grandfather was dying,Dean & Sammy had already passed, BUT… EVERY OTHER NIGHT, Frank & Bill had called his house.   This was SUCH A despicable ACT OF HATRED….. IT DISGUSTS ME.  Kathleen Liccardo.

  Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra had ties to the mafia in Chicago & other cities, and in the early days FBI files suggest that Martin accepted help from gangsters who owns saloons and clubs in Chicago & they were well known associates & acquaintances with figures like Sammy Giancana. And it's well known that Frank Sinatra AKA "Old🔵 Blue eyes"👀 told all the club owners in Las Vegas that if Sammy Davis Jr. couldn't perform in Las Vegas that the whole "Rat Pack" wouldn't perform either.😮 Fact's 🤨😏💪🤔🫡👀💯

  Growing up in hard times in hard places as an obvious Italian American, the great entertainer who became famous as Dean Martin had more than an inkling of what racism is all about. And, he became quite a man.
