  Another UXM owner here, cautiously optimistic about George&apos;s remarks about X-Men code. I&apos;ve given countless suggestions in the Pinside owners thread, but &quot;we haven&apos;t done enough with X, Y, and Z&quot; pretty much sums it up. We need more communication like this, it&apos;s been silent for SO LONG. And the &quot;we haven&apos;t abandoned it&quot; didn&apos;t exactly fill me with hope, leaning more towards the &quot;shove a Mastermold wizard mode at the end and call it 1.0&quot; side of things... To me what the table needs is the ability to recruit X-Men through missions, level them up in the danger room, and then CHOOSE to bring them to the future. Currently, doing a whole mode to eventually just watch that X-Man die in the future is very anti-climactic. I want to feel like I&apos;m assembling my X-men team, training them, using their powers, and then bringing them on a hard mission (the future). I&apos;m not talking about huge stat cards, and convoluted RPG elements, but just basic stuff like I&apos;ve recruited Wolverine and Storm, great! Now I bring them to the danger room and they&apos;re both level 2, now I go to a new multi-phase future mode where my X-Mans will alter that future playthrough in some meaningful way. And THEN when I beat the future I feel like I&apos;ve actually accomplished something. If I lose the future then those X-men lose a level, and can&apos;t be summoned for the next future, or side-quest. Just that core gameplay loop would be incredibly satisfying. As is with the missions right now, I don&apos;t really feel like I&apos;m doing anything important, it all feels very disposable. I never feel like I&apos;m progressing, I&apos;m just biding my time to probably have them die in the future and me being disappointed. Also combos should do more than just raise the beastlab level, with such a layout I&apos;d think that combos with a cast of X-men would evoke the kind of teamplay the X-men are known for.<br><br>Thanks for the interview Joel! And Thanks for discussing UXM George! I&apos;m rooting for you, even though the majority of owners are pretty fed up. I really hope you get the chance to prove everyone wrong and knock it out of the park. This table deserves it. And frankly, Jack deserves it.

  Joel, you are doing a fantastic job interviewing in this video, and I love how down to earth and open the legendary George Gomez is. &nbsp;Thrilled with today’s code release for Pokemon…glad the approvals panned out and everyone (including the naysayers) are able to see this machine for the masterpiece that it is.

  George Gomez is DA MAN! No more needs to be said.<br><br>Thank you for Lord of the Rings, Deadpool, James Bond 007, and all the rest. And thanks for being an adminstrative icon in every way. The industry and hobby would have never been the same without you, and that will continue to be true.<br><br>Incredible interview.

  Closure on Optimus.. What a great interview. George seems to have many fires to put out, and masterfully does so. Great to hear D&amp;D Tyrants Eye is finally getting accessories. Solid video.

  George is one of the best in the biz. He could’ve called it a career years ago and instead he continues to create incredible designers and games. Clearly he loves what he does and it shows.
