  I find that tuner pedals sound best at the start of the chain.

  I can&apos;t believe it took a year and a half for me to finally take the advice of this video and try using the compressor after the overdrive. But doing this is absolutely the best improvement I&apos;ve made in 40 years. And it&apos;s not only an improvement in tone, but what it does for me when playing with my band is no less than phenomenal. It has made the whole band sound much better. My guitar is now much easier to play. I touch the volume pedal maybe 3 times in a 4 hour show. It used to be every song. <br>But now the band blends so much better. Solos sear through the mix without raising the volume. Everything has taken on a studio vide. <br>I have long complained that our band just doesn&apos;t seem to be gelling, and now I find it was me who has been failing to blend. So humbling, but still so excited to have discovered this setup.<br><br>I like phaser before OD too, Dan. <br><br>Guitar &gt; Wah &gt; Hardwire CM-2 O.D. &gt; Compressor &gt; Noise Gate &gt; Volume Pedal &gt;<br>Analog Delay &gt; Boss CE-5 Stereo Chorus &gt; Two Fender Blues Deluxe Amps set at least two feet apart with the stereo chorus on all night. &nbsp;<br>From The Police to Alice In Chains this is tonal bliss for me. <br>And maybe this setup works so well for me because the Fender Blue Deluxes lack almost any compression at all until windows are rattling.

  Reverb into delay sounds like instead of an echo in a cave you’ve got a thousand echoes from different caves being shown to you through some kind of four dimensional version of be Lawrence welk show intro sequence. I’m freakin out maaaaaan
