  Building a house while both husband and wife are working full-time is one of the most mentally exhausting experiences. People think arranging the money is the hard part, but that&apos;s just the beginning.<br><br>First comes the endless wait for approvals—loans, electricity, water connections, paperwork. Then the real struggle starts: constantly supervising contractors because if you don&apos;t, materials get wasted, work slows down, or quality drops. Some days the masons don&apos;t show up, other days you end up arguing with the contractor and feel like giving up.<br><br>And that&apos;s only the exterior battle. The interior is another headache altogether—hiring designers, choosing every tile, color, light, and finish from floor to ceiling. If you&apos;re unlucky, unexpected civil issues appear too. In our case, we discovered an uneven ceiling slope that created even more stress and expense.<br><br>To make things worse, there always seem to be a few neighbors or random people who unnecessarily interfere and try to create obstacles.<br><br>Anyone who has built a house from scratch knows it&apos;s not just a financial investment—it&apos;s a test of your patience, time, mental health, and relationships. Respect to everyone who&apos;s gone through it. 🏠🙏

  If you buy a PLOT, you buy the Freedom for your Children who can do all those things he mentioned.

  Building a house/bunglow that will become an ancestral place for your next generations, is the most satisfying thing in your life.<br>Also, unlike a flat, a house is something build according to YOUR vision/dream.<br><br>These 2 things make it the most valued thing in your life.

  1. In plot you are not dependable on your upper floor owner for fixing the seepage in your ceiling......<br>2. You can always built another floor on your plot

  After staying in flat <br>I strongly suggest to own plot and build it<br>Don’t listen to those<br>2 many limitations in flat<br>Only good thing is security &amp; not worry about water management

  After wathching your videos, I can say Finance is easy but intentionally made complicated so that corporates and institutions can earn money.

  I have lived in a 2 bhk 1000sqft flat worth rupees 70 lakhs and a similar size house on a plot in the suburbs of the same city in which the flat is, and the the house has overall costed me 60 lakhs and the flat like I mentioned 70 lakhs which I sold for 82 lakhs after 3 years, yes building your own house is an hassle but it&apos;s your land it&apos;s your own property and you can make it however you like, and flats I feel will always remain in the costlieer side and we are giving money to stay in a shared space, many restrictions and yes the quality of construction on the building matters alot, so It totally depends onw your preferences but if you ask me personally I strongly feel that a house on your own land is the best option.

  One more point to note, You can actually pay for construction without taking out loan if you do it slow enough. &nbsp;I was able to pause construction for few months when I was sort of money but otherwise monthly income and earlier savings were enough for the construction cost. Again I paused before I started furniture work

  Better to buy plot and live like a king on your own land. Relax your mind in the small garden when the weather is good.
