  You feed the insomnia more when you build your life choices and pleasures around the anxiety of insomnia. Live your life, but do stay off social media and anything that keeps you in problem solving mode. God bless to everyone struggling

  Took me 1 year to come off Lorazepam since March 2025. Severe insomnia everyday and extreme muscle tension and twitching when trying to sleep. Brain just couldnt let go. Stopped it in November and it took so much discipline to not take it. Now im back to my old self, it is possible to come off of it.

  I can’t sleep with or without it! I am not getting any deep sleep so now I am tapering off.

  I used to get horrible panic attacks when I drove to work, so bad that I almost quit. My livelihood was at stake, and I was desperate. I got a Xanax prescription but ended up flushing them down the toilet because of horror stories like these. Never took a single pill.<br><br>I ended up getting over anxiety with acceptance and exposure practices, but it was a very difficult and painful process. Probably a hell of a lot easier than going through Xanax withdrawal, though.

  I am glad I never to pharmaceuticals for my anxiety.<br>In my twenties I experienced horrible panic attacks at times thinking I was about to die while I was having a panic attack.<br>I managed it by learning to sit with the attacks, battling through them and understanding that they would pass - it was horrific at times but I survived through them.

  I quit them in 2 months. Didnt know supposed to take 12 to 18 months! &nbsp;Glad im not having any problems

  I would be in the next lifetime if I didn’t have access to meds when I was 20 and in college. The problem is, years later, im still on them.

  Benzo tolerance grows insanely fast for insomnia. &nbsp;They work great for anxiety tho. Can’t lie.
