  I drove a black taxi in London for nearly 40 years. I met and had conversations with people from probably every country in the world. I learnt a lot from those conversations, but my main take away from them is simple. No matter where we come from, we really are are all the same.

  I&apos;m British, 57 male, and all my life i have rinsed the dishes after washing them. Heck i&apos;ll even rinse them before washing them and rinse them again afterwards. I am aware though that some people don&apos;t.

  I think the american girl must of had a strange friend, ive lived in britain all my life, &nbsp;i dont know anyone who dosent rinse the soap off dishes 😮

  On the point of umbrellas... Visiting Japan on holiday recently, us Brits stuck out like a sore thumb. We were the only ones without one. Eventually I bought an umbrella there and used it the entire trip without issue. I brought it back to the UK... light rain, seemingly no wind, opened my umbrella, less than a minute later it had folded under the pressure of a Briton&apos;s &apos;small breeze&apos;...
