I'll consider myself a connoisseur of you-tube, and I'm happy to award this vid 10/10. Fabulous clarity. Perfect wit and even a hard push towards proving tablet weaving trains your faculties like a beast. Thank you Mrs. I think i might have to start weaving now, diving into the deep end.

Me: I'd love to learn to weave but there's definitely no space in my apartment for a whole ass loom. Maybe tablet weaving? It seems like it might be reasonably easy to get started.

Me 25 minutes later: I see! I will need some card from our recycling bag, some Macguyver spirit, and probably a second brain.

After the awkward metaphor I had to subscribe. It made me giggle and your work is amazing.

"If it isnt excruciatingly difficult why would you bother doing it?" Yes! Lol I want the challenge. Which is why tablet weaving with a skip hole pattern was my first ever weaving pattern 😂 love how in depth this is without being mind numbingly long and boring.

So I love how you provide a simple and safe solution but then agree with me in my head that the challenge is part of the fun. I low-key used your video to reignate the spark for my current project which is making an inkle loom, shuttle, and tablets out of wood. I love combining multiple crafts like woodworking and textile making, finding a craft I want to learn then making the tools for it myself. I ran into a slight hiccup which stole all the thunder out of me for it. So thank you for lighting the fire again, if anyone needs me I'll be in the wood shop :)

I think this is (possibly) the best instructional video on the webs. Between the snark and brutal honesty is clear information. Thank you for teaching to the 5th grader in the back row. I will try (sigh) once again Tablet Weaving.
