  When I met Todd I was dressed as The Crow. He was leaving the con and was taking pictures with my friends. He saw me standing alone and approached me and told me to always keep my chin high and he took a picture with me and was so kind and generous with his time to talk with me before he left. Todd was and is the nicest celeb I had the pleasure of meeting.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S12bovcmonw&amp;t=4345">1:12:25</a> I felt that with his Spider-Man got into Marvel big time the month Spider-Man 13 came out. Was very late into his run for the character and at Marvel. But I instantly dug it. And decided he was my favorite artist. And a lot of great issues came out that month like Thanos tossing Hulk aside like nothing in opening of Silver Surfer 55. Or the 2nd appearance of Deadpool in X-Force 2.<br><br>It was only a sort few months I got to enjoy him on Spider-Man before I pick up an issue with the cover having Spidey said, “Bye Todd”. My heart did sink a little. And in the back he said his goodbyes to the fans and announced he was stepping away from comics. So no short holiday indeed. He was about to have a kid and it seemed like he was retiring from comics all together.<br><br>It was years later that I happened to find a copy of Spawn 11 in the dollar store that I realized he was back and with his own creation. I hadn’t seen it earlier as I had no clue about Comicbook stores and only picked up issues at the grocery and drugstore. I dived back again into collecting once again. But yet again by this time in the monthly book he was already switching to being the inker instead of the penciler. He continued to ink on the book for about another year or two but luckily I also loved the artist he had brought onto the book just as much.

  Todd my favorite creator, artist ever since childhood this man single handedly defined my generation with Venom AND Spawn. I&apos;ll be going to comic con NYC next month and can&apos;t wait to meet him just to thank him
