i lived in kenya for 6 months. i didnt understand the currency at first so i exchanged $300 US. i didnt spend half that in the time i was there. before leaving, i gave the rest away. i kept one schilling for collecting. this was in 1997 and i was 22 yr old at the time.

She is not repairing the shoes with toilet paper. In fact, when drying white shoes, its easy for them to stain from water retained within the fabric of the shoe if the water loss is rapid. So the toilet paper regulates that drying process thereby ensuring that the white shoe remains white.
