  Transporting fish from the shore of lake Victoria to another side of the shore of lake Victoria using a 13 ton lorry carrying eleven fish sounds to me economically infeasible. Which leaves me with only one reason, STAGING!

  I'm from Kenya,I'm a fan of this documentary. On behalf of all Kenyans,I apologize to the whole world. This episode is full of acting & staging. Please pull this episode down.  We have refrigerated trucks to transport fish

  Small scale fisheries in Kenya has such huge potential to improve the wealth of fishing communities but there&apos;s a lot of work to do to develop fisheries. This is an interesting perspective this documentary has taken highlighting the challenges faced in distribution and for me working with the fishers in Lake Victoria I can confirm that things on the ground are not rosy, it&apos;s not really that exaggerated, there are areas that are very remote yet very productive. &nbsp;In 2022-2023 the fish landing sites infrastructure the government put up in Luanda K&apos;otieno beach. Siaya and Sori beach, Migori have capacities to produce ice and provide cold storage for products on site. If more of these could be replicated within shorter distances it would help distributors &nbsp;better handle products but there&apos;s need to pull resources from the community, fishing cooperatives, distributors and government &nbsp;to ensure formidable running of the fish landing sites. The challenges in distribution of fish are ever present but sometimes its a pain that some players in &nbsp;distribution exploit the fishers yet they are very necessary because they provide an essential service. <br>More organization and better systems will go a long way to help sector players.
