The study data elevates these videos from what could otherwise be dismissed as "opinion pieces" to effective and tangible observations. It's a brilliant fomula, kudos for putting these together. The longer format makes them initially a bit more difficult to click for people unfamiliar with the content but thats what shorts are for.

I was so impressed with your last video about our interaction with YouTube “celebs” that I’ve resolved never again to comment on any YouTube videos.

Blown away by the depth of this video, and all of the layers and examples and sources and threads you pulled together here. Fantastic work!
So much harm has been done in the name of efficiency throughout the history of civilization, and the potential for that harm has only increased with technological advancement, and the increasing complexity of state bureaucracies and the interconnection between states.

i think when any upper class people say "efficient", it's best to hear it as "convenient". They don't know know what it means, they just know it sounds good to sell what they're saying (especially to themselves). Like other words such as "sustainable"

If AI does destroy humanity it won't be from it outsmarting us but from us outstupiding i̶t̶ ourselves.

Our intuition shouldn't be to say "clever girl" but instead "why are we raising velociraptors?"

Edit:
I messed up my phrasing but my point still stands

Barry’s use of current and widely known movies to explain the intersection between our individual biases and our collective biases is on full display here and I love it. Humans have always taught each other and especially children how to avoid danger and dangerous traps via fairytales, songs, stories and art. The most efficient ways to connect, communicate and learn is via this collective medium of art and yet we don’t seem to give it as much weight as a world view full of generalizations riddled with our biases and minimal critical thought effort. Perhaps we need to be less efficient?

Another great video, Barry. You are making it so clear for anyone and everyone to see what is happening.

These video clips you pull together really make the point ... and always people refusing to answer the questions asked after they've created a disaster that was so obviously coming. Ty Barry.

Another brilliant episode. Special thanks for digging out the footage on Thames Water CEO reminding us why we don't hate the government or Thames Water anywhere near enough!
